Payouts & Stripe Connect

Stripe Connect onboarding, platform fees, and Lumavel-managed shops.

Standard shops (Stripe Connect)

Most partners use Stripe Connect:

  1. Dashboard → Set up Stripe payouts (or Continue Stripe onboarding).
  2. Complete Stripe identity and bank details.
  3. When stripe_charges_enabled is true, checkout works and payouts route to your connected account.
  4. Lumavel collects a platform maintenance fee on gross sales (lower for Founding Partners).

Launch gate: Stripe must be ready before Make shop public unless your shop is Lumavel-managed.

Lumavel-managed payouts

Select platform shops skip Stripe Connect — orders still use Stripe Checkout but payouts are handled off-platform. Dashboard shows managed status; no onboarding button.

Return from Stripe

After Stripe redirects back, the dashboard refreshes payout status automatically (?stripe_connect=return).
