Who we are: Lumavel LLC, a Virginia limited liability company (“Lumavel,” “we,” “us”).

This Privacy Policy describes how Lumavel handles personal information on lumavel.co. Some products (WanderGames, Iter Discendi) are made for children and families. Independent Lumavel accounts are for parents, guardians, or people 13 or older. See Child and Family Privacy.

1. What this policy covers

It covers:

• Account registration and sign-in (Clerk)
• Business Hub subscriptions and ordinary business tools
• Newsletter signup (with unsubscribe)
• Contact forms
• Payments processed by Stripe
• Optional analytics only after you consent
• Adult use of AI features when those features are available
• WanderGames and Iter Discendi used by families (see Child and Family Privacy)

It does not currently authorize:

• Independent Lumavel accounts created by children under 13
• Child-directed AI chat or image tools that store a child’s personal information
• Bank linking (Plaid)
• Plaza / marketplace seller onboarding or seller uploads
• Public user-generated content marketplaces that are still gated

2. Information we collect

Depending on what you use, we may collect:

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide and secure the service you signed up for
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Respond to contact and support requests
• Send newsletters you opted into (you can unsubscribe)
• Improve reliability and prevent abuse
• Comply with law

4. Processors we use

We use service providers to operate the platform, including:

• Clerk — authentication
• Stripe — payments and billing
• Supabase / hosting / Vercel — application data and hosting
• AI vendors (for example Google Gemini) — only when you use an AI feature that sends your input to that vendor
• First-party analytics — usage events we store ourselves (site_events), only if you consent to analytics. We do not load Microsoft Clarity, Metricool, or other third-party analytics scripts.

Each provider processes data under its own terms and our instructions where applicable.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies are required for sign-in, security, and checkout. Preferences and analytics are controlled through Lumavel’s first-party Cookie Preferences. Details: Cookie Policy.

Global Privacy Control (GPC), when detected, is treated as a signal to disable analytics.

6. Age and children’s data

Independent Lumavel accounts are for a parent, guardian, or a person 13 or older. Children under 13 must not create their own account.

WanderGames and Iter Discendi are designed for children and families. Catalog WanderGames play does not require an account. Custom boards and Iter progress are stored on the signed-in Lumavel account (the parent or guardian). Details: Child and Family Privacy.

Delete data: https://lumavel.co/privacy/delete — clear stored data and keep the login, or delete the account and everything with it.

7. Your choices and requests

You may:

• Update account details in your account settings
• Manage cookie preferences on the site
• Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message
• Cancel paid subscriptions through Stripe’s billing portal (see Subscription & Refund Policy)
• Request access, correction, or deletion at lumavel.co/privacy/delete or privacy@lumavel.co

We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

8. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. We use industry-standard protections (HTTPS/TLS in transit; access controls; encryption for certain sensitive tokens when those features are enabled). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Changes

When we change this policy, we will update the effective date and keep prior versions in our records. Material changes will be posted on this page.
