Free tools bring you in, one-time unlocks sell capability, and Lumavel credits pay for compute-heavy usage (AI, analytics, bulk reports, Plaza listing shelf events). Shopping Plaza buyer checkout stays normal card payments like any marketplace.

Classification rule (every new tool)

  • Does it cost Lumavel money per use? → Credits (Layer 3).
  • Is it a core creator product with near-zero marginal cost? → One-time unlock (Layer 2).
  • Otherwise → Free (Layer 1).
  • Every tool belongs to exactly one layer — no hybrid pricing at launch.

Lumavel credits (universal)

One balance across the ecosystem. Baseline: 100 credits ≈ $1 (entry $5 pack = 500 credits). Larger packs include bonus credits — the more you buy, the better the rate. Credits power Plaza listing shelf fees (20 credits per listing event), QR analytics slots, SEO site-wide packs (1,000 credits), and future AI generation.

Shopping Plaza partner fees (cash)

When buyers purchase from your shop, checkout is normal Stripe card payment (like Etsy). Lumavel collects a 3% platform fee on gross sales (Founding Partners lock in 1.5% forever). That is separate from Lumavel credits, which only cover ecosystem tools and listing shelf events.
