The Light of Alexandria

Truth with receipts — Pillar 10 initiative; aligned with Data Sanctuary ethics.

Category: Education & knowledge

Summary

Public-good knowledge archive: verified entries, source-backed tiers, provenance, and interconnected facts — no ads, no commercial funnel.

Mission fit

Truth with receipts — Pillar 10 initiative; aligned with Data Sanctuary ethics.

Role

The Light of Alexandria is the verified knowledge archive: entities and relationships with independent sources, verification tiers (Bronze–Platinum), and provenance — not a social wiki or an ad-funded reference site.

Pillar fit

  • Pillar 10 — Education (The Guild): the archive is foundational infrastructure for honest learning and research alongside the Learning Academy (courses) and future guild-style programs.
  • Pillar 15 — Sovereignty / Data Sanctuary: same ethical bar — no ad-tech tracking, no “truth as upsell,” public-good posture.

Deployment

Engineering

Monorepo app: apps/alexandria-lumavel — Next.js, Clerk (admin only), Supabase-backed ingestion and search as the archive matures.

Roadmap (high level)

Placeholder routes on the public site describe future knowledge map, learning modes, themes, and research API — informational only until shipped.
